1. Both hipster and indie are two subcultures that are non-conformist and independent of the popular and mainstream culture. Both subcultures have their own ideas about attitudes and lifestyles.
2. The term for both subcultures has different origins. “Hipster” is a combination of two words “hip” and “ster.” The “hip” came from the description of people who love the Jazz Age, and the suffix “ster” is a common English suffix. On the other hand, “indie” is the shortened version of “independent.” Both words are considered as noun and adjectives.
3. Hipsters are considered to be avant-garde or pioneers in starting new trends and ideas in society. Once the concept is adapted by the mainstream, they often abandon it and set on a new trend. Meanwhile, indies are not necessary trendsetters, but they have their own brand of ideas and trends.
4. Hipsters tend to be conformist in their culture, usually seeing only people in their own set. The same can be true for indies, but there are indies who can socialize with people with other subcultures or the mainstream.
5. A hipster is basically a contemporary subculture while an indie is a subculture born from the independent side of the entertainment business.
6. Hipsters have the ideal of being different form the mainstream by discovering and creating new things while indies are characterized by a sense of idealism and an anti-corporate attitude.

jazz vs blues

2.Jazz enjoyed nationwide penetration in America compared to the pocketed popularity of blues music during their early heydays.
3.Jazz has more syncopation than blues making it a more complicated music style.
4.Blues was ordinarily a more vocal form of music unlike the more instrumental jazz music.

dar ce se intampla cand un parinte investeste si bani si timp in copilul sau? acela devine o afacere. atunci nu mai esti parinte esti intreprinzator. copilul dau nu mai e copil este afacerea ta de familie.

So everyone knows what to expect when it comes to Mondays, right? You go back to work or whatever you go back to on your Mondays and it sucks but you know it's supposed to suck and that it sucks for everyone. You know how to deal with it and you've got some common ground. People like hating on Mondays. It's a group sport. And then it's over and you think “Hey cool, we survived another Monday.“ But then Tuesday comes around and the group sport is forgotten because “Calm down, it's just a Tuesday“ and it's useless. It's not the beginning of the week, it's not the middle of the week and good god, it's sure isn't the end of the week, is it? It just is. It just is and it sucks.
